Collage for Consciousness

Join a supportive and nurturing group of women who wish to connect with their creative wisdom through yoga, chanting, movement and the transformational power of collage. We gather in a lovely yurt under the forest canopy to awaken and sustain a flow state of creative energy within ourselves. Outside, under the shade of the forest we will begin working with collage. The power of collage is that it bypasses your censoring mind and can surprise you with new information about your inner life. It provides a symbolic release of emotions, even if you are not yet conscious of what they are. Collage can help you to meet and accept the inner parts of yourself that you do not normally express from your socialized self. 

This can help you to organize and sort out your inner landscape so that you can witness it with compassion. You will be guided to continue to tune into your own intuition and will be supported by others to allow something truthful to emerge. These women will hold space for one another to express through movement and drama the messages that our soul selves are conveying to us in the moment. After a closing circle you will have the option of staying for a farm supper at the outdoor Café of Ananda Farm. They serve a freshly made vegetarian meal prepared completely from farm grown produce. There will be entertainment and others to enjoy the evening with. The Supper evening is from 4:30 – 8pm. 

You will be invited to go on a walking farm tour if you are interested and to spend as much time absorbing the uplifting environment of the farm. Wear comfortable clothing for movement and shoes for walking in the forest. If you wish, you may bring your own personal journal.
